Vitamin and nutritional supplements provider Nature’s Bounty has launched the new Plant-Based Omega-3 dietary supplement for varied health benefits.
This vegetarian alternative to traditional fish oil uses algae as the source of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) omega-3s. Algae is a plant-based producer of these essential healthy fats.
Nature’s Bounty Plant-Based Omega-3 supplement contains 1,000 mg of vegetarian algae oil, supporting heart, joint, and skin health.
The dietary supplement is now available at Amazon, CVS, Walgreens, Publix, and Kroger.
One softgel of Nature’s Bounty’s Plant-Based Omega-3 provides 520 mg of total omega-3s, including 510 mg of EPA and DHA.
These omega-3s promote heart health and support healthy skin and joints.
Nature’s Bounty brand marketing director Donna Olufade said: “We’re excited to launch our new Plant-Based Omega-3 supplement, which brings the health benefits of fish oil to consumers in a vegetarian offering.
“Many people don’t realise that fish are rich sources of omega-3s because of the algae in their food chain.
“We went straight to the source, algae, to develop our new Plant-Based Omega-3 supplement to support consumers who prefer a vegetarian diet or plant-based ingredients.”
Nature’s Bounty is focused on enhancing health and wellness. Its vitamin and nutritional supplements are formulated under the supervision of scientists, manufacturing experts, and quality specialists.
The company sources ingredients from suppliers who have Quality Assurance and GMP standards.
In October, the supplements provider expanded its women’s wellness line with three new products, Intimacy Booster, Healthy pH Balance, and Hair Growth Gummies.
These products are designed to support women’s health, including hair growth and sexual and vaginal health.
