11 trade groups representing producers and wholesalers say this will enable businesses to get to grips with new trading rules. With less than two months until the UK enters into new trading arrangements, the associations have written to the prime minister stating the market faces a “perilous situation”.
Signatories include Scotland Food & Drink, the National Farmers’ Union Scotland, Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation and the Scottish Seafood Association.
