Else Nutrition has entered the adult food market with the launch of its plant-based ready-to-drink (RTD) nutritional shakes for adults in Canada, with the US roll-out expected later this year.
The publicly listed food and nutrition company specialises in clean, plant-based nutrition. Its whole-food, plant-powered complete nutrition drinks cater to vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian diets and advance the adult nutritional beverage market.
As plant-based diets grow in popularity, Else Nutrition said that its Adult RTD shakes offer a timely solution.
Made from whole-food ingredients like almond butter, sunflower protein, and buckwheat flour, these dairy-free shakes are said to provide a nutritious, easy-to-digest alternative to traditional dairy-based supplements.
Each serving of these shakes provides 280 calories and 14g of plant protein. The formula also includes natural fibre, carbohydrates, and unsaturated fats, along with 26 essential vitamins and minerals tailored to adults’ health needs.
According to the food and nutrition company, the shakes contain 50% less sugar than leading competitors and has no artificial sweeteners. The shakes are also lactose-free, cholesterol-free, low in saturated fat, and Clean Label Certified.
Else Nutrition’s RTD Vanilla shakes are now available in Canada in 8 fl. oz. (236 mL) tetra packs, offered in six-packs and 24-packs. They can be purchased on Amazon and at select retail locations.
Additional flavours are planned for future release. In the US, the product line is set to launch in Q2 2025.
Else Nutrition CEO and co-founder Hamutal Yitzhak said: “We are proud to introduce a convenient, clean, and delicious option for adults looking to meet their daily nutritional needs.
“This launch is a natural progression of our mission to deliver whole-food-based nutrition for all ages. Our adult shakes aren’t just better for you and easier to digest, they’re better for the planet.”
Else Nutrition is currently in the international expansion stage. The food and nutrition firm is focused on developing new, clean, and whole plant-based food and nutrition products for infants, toddlers, children, and adults.
In July last year, the firm announced a partnership with the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) to provide plant-based nutrition to military families.
