US-based plant-based ingredients provider FutureCeuticals has teamed up with India-based calcium compounds and other pharmaceutical-grade raw materials provider Global Calcium.
The partnership aims to expand FutureCeuticals’ portfolio of dietary supplement ingredients into markets in India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
It will leverage Global Calcium’s manufacturing and sales network, opening new opportunities in these regions.
FutureCeuticals vice president and research and development head Randal Wexler said: “We are excited to partner with Global Calcium, extending the reach of our innovative ingredient solutions.
“Their world-class manufacturing capabilities align with our high standards, and this opens doors to some of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
“The decision to utilise their capabilities to help us globalise our industry-leading and innovative joint and bone mineral complex made perfect sense.”
FutureCeuticals said the partnership will initially focus on FruiteX-B calcium fructoborate, its patented and clinically supported mineral complex for joint, mobility, and bone health.
FruiteX-B is expected to capitalise on Global Calcium’s position in the market and provide new opportunities in these regions.
Global Calcium will leverage its expertise in calcium-based minerals to help expand FruiteX-B’s reach and strengthen its global presence in the mineral supplement category.
Global Calcium CEO Sahil Vaz said: “We are excited to collaborate with a globally recognised innovator like FutureCeuticals on this strategic venture.
“Their science-based platform of research-backed ingredients aligns perfectly with our manufacturing capabilities and business strengths.
“Our initial focus on FutureCeuticals’ FruiteX-B calcium fructoborate provides a compelling new joint and bone solution that is a natural extension of our existing, market-leading speciality mineral actives offerings.”
