Kabrita, a company providing goat milk nutrition, has launched its Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula for babies 0-12 months in Canada.
The Health Canada-approved formula is now available across Canada, said the company.
The Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is now available at Walmart, Amazon.ca, and other major retailers in the coming months.
Kabrita, a division of Dutch dairy firm Ausnutria, is offering the formula in two sizes, 800gm canisters with 44 servings and 400gm canisters with 22 servings.
Following the launch of its Toddler Nutrition in Canada last summer, the company expanded its offerings with more gentle, high-quality alternatives to cow milk-based formula for parents and their little ones.
Kabrita North America medical and scientific affairs director Elieke Kearns said: “We are thrilled to expand our product offerings in Canada and bring our Infant Formula and its scientifically-backed benefits to Canadian families.
“Parents are increasingly looking for gentle, high-quality nutrition options for their babies, and our Infant Formula delivers exactly that.”
Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is gentle, easy to digest, and promotes healthy growth for infants from birth to 12 months.
Made with grass-fed goat milk, it contains 25 essential vitamins and minerals, along with key nutrients like DHA, ARA, and prebiotics. It has certified clean ingredients with no genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or pesticide residue.
According to goat milk nutrition firm, this formula is ideal for all healthy term babies and is a great alternative for those sensitive to cow’s milk-based formulas.
Kabrita milk is sourced from family-run goat farms in the Netherlands that follow the Dutch Kwaligeit animal welfare and food safety programme.
The company said these goats are given high-quality nutrition, housing, and optimal care for their health and well-being.
Kabrita operates with 94% renewable energy, uses recyclable canisters, and its newest facility is 100% carbon and nitrogen-free.
