Ingredient solutions provider PLT Health Solutions is expanding its sports/active nutrition and wellness offerings with a new botanical ingredient, cellflo6.
This patented, gallate-enhanced oligomer extract is formulated to offer energy, boost sports performance, and support overall health.
cellflo6 is sourced from green tea (Camellia sinensis).
This ingredient is already being used for pre-workout, energy, recovery, and men’s health products. It is even used in recovery formulations for US Military Tier 1 Operators.
In addition, cellflo6 is in the 7-ELEVEN-branded energy drink, 7-Select Fusion Energy. This zero-sugar drink is part of the 7-Select line and is now available at over 30,000 retail locations across North America, including 7-ELEVEN, Speedway, and Stripes.
According to PLT Health Solutions sports and active nutrition director Brett Bernier, the ingredient can help sports, recovery, and wellness product formulators to develop new products.

cellflo6 also contains standardised levels of galloylated procyanidins. It is protected under US Patent for its benefits in treating endovascular dysfunction and enhancing blood flow.
PLT Health Solutions said that the oligomer extract also promotes cellular health and combats free radical damage while reducing oxidative stress.
Furthermore, the ingredient is said to deliver the benefits of green tea catechins, including support for exercise recovery, muscle recovery, metabolic health, and weight management.
