Otsuka Pharmaceutical has partnered with San Francisco-based company Vivosens to launch their nutrition tracking service “Vivoo”, in Japan on September 2.
In recent years, a shift toward more health-conscious attitudes has increased a growing interest in healthcare services that utilize digital technology. There is now a greater demand for easily accessible services that provide personalized health support.
With the newly launched Japanese version of Vivoo, users can perform an at-home urine strip test. The strip is scanned with the “Vivoo app”, which utilizes Vivosens’s proprietary artificial intelligence and image processing technology to deliver real-time nutritional data. Additionally, the service provides personalized dietary and lifestyle advice supervised by nutritionists tailored to the test results.

Starting on September 2, we will being selling test strips through our online store, “Otsuka Plus 1 in conjunction with the launch of this service that utilizes the Vivoo app.
