Global hop supplier Yakima Chief Hops (YCH) and Oregon-based hop developer and supplier Indie Hops have teamed up to launch Strata HyperBoost.
This collaboration combines Indie Hops’ Strata variety with YCH’s advanced HyperBoost formula, a flowable hop extract exclusively available from YCH.
Brewers can now access Strata HyperBoost this new offering for enhanced brewing.
Available in limited quantities, it comes in 100g easy-to-pour bottles and can be purchased from YCH or Indie Hops.
To broaden access to Strata’s characteristics, YCH also offers Strata T90 pellets.

Strata is known for its aroma of passion fruit, grapefruit, strawberry, and cannabis.
According to Yakima Chief Hops, Strata’s flavours are now easier to incorporate into a beer using the new HyperBoost formula.
HyperBoost’s concentrated oil formula is designed for simplicity, allowing brewers to pour it directly into fermenters with no additional prep work. Previously known as YCH 701 Trial, HyperBoost was launched in July 2024.
It is formulated to meet brewers’ demand for a highly flowable, concentrated hop product. It enhances beer flavour and aroma while maintaining true-to-style hop characteristics.
The global hop supplier said brewers using HyperBoost report up to a 10% increase in beer yield. It can replace part of the hop bill or be added to amplify the beer’s overall flavour and aroma.
