Yerbaé Brands, a plant-based functional beverage company, has announced four new distribution partnerships, in a move to create synergies with Safety Shot’s operations.
The US-based firm has partnered with Carlson Distributing, Bison Beverage, George’s Distributing, and Craig Stein Beverage. These agreements will bring Yerbaé’s plant-based functional beverages to over 100 Smith’s Food & Drug locations across western US.
Smith’s Food & Drug, a Kroger subsidiary and a regional grocery chain, operates stores in states like Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
This expansion is part of Yerbaé’s growth strategy and complements its planned acquisition by Safety Shot, which was announced recently.
Carlson Distributing will cover Utah, Bison Beverage will serve Wyoming, George’s Distributing will manage Montana, and Craig Stein Beverage will handle Boise, Idaho.
These distributors will ensure Yerbaé is available in over 100 Smith’s stores across the region.
The new distributors will deliver Yerbaé’s latest 12oz functional beverage line, featuring flavours like Mango Passionfruit, Watermelon Strawberry, Black Cherry Pineapple, Raspberry Sorbet, and Peachy Mimosa Twist.
This expansion strengthens the beverage firm’s presence on the West Coast, where demand for healthier, functional beverages continues to rise.
Yerbaé CEO and co-founder Todd Gibson said: “Partnering with Carlson, Bison, George’s, and Craign Stein is an exciting step in our mission to provide more consumers with Yerbaé’s refreshing and energising beverages.
“We’re thrilled to expand our footprint and make Yerbaé available to even more consumers throughout these seven states.”
Yerbaé claimed that its retail success is driven by a growing distribution network. Its expansion with key distributors marks progress in chain-driven retail like Smith’s while positioning the company across new regional accounts and independent retailers.
This distribution strategy is supported by field sales and merchandising efforts, strengthening financial performance through incremental case deliveries, increased sales, and improved retail stock management.
These new partnerships are expected to create synergies for Safety Shot by expanding its distribution network and opening new opportunities for collaboration.
Safety Shot, a wellness and dietary supplement company, could leverage these relationships to introduce its wellness products to a broader audience. It may also explore joint marketing and sales initiatives with the distributors, benefiting both brands through streamlined logistics and distribution.
Recently, Safety Shot introduced Sure Shot On-the-Go Powder Stick Packs of its alcohol-reducing product.
